Hillcrest Transitional Housing

  • Provides transitional housing for the homeless.
  • Must fill out an application online, and then contact the Housing Site that was selected as the first choice. Follow-up phone calls are required on a daily basis or applications will go to the bottom of the waiting list.
  • Average waiting time varies by Housing Site, but is usually around 2-4 weeks.
  • Provides case management once accepted onto the program.
  • Works with single adults, couples, and families with children.
  • Also has a Youth program that works with youths ages 16-20.

  • Multifamily Housing program is offered to rural Jackson (seniors only) and Cass county residents. These are properties managed by West Central that provide permanent housing.
